Yeah, that is so awesome... the house looks great; great back yard, and nice that there is a fireplace. About the open room, you should just rip out that small section of carpet and put down wood or the flooring that looks like wood, (tile) or something. That way it will just open the room up to one fluid space instead of being broken up like it is. Either way though I'm sure you'll make it look awesome!

YEA!!!!!!!!!!! Are you so excited? To have a house of your own!!!!! What a great feeling. I love the kitchen and the open entry. funny that there is a fireplace in Las Vegas, but it will definitely be beautiful. I can't wait to come visit.
